Tanya Trahtemberg, the designer, was born into the fourth generation of a family of Italian jewelers. Her great-grandfather founded one of the oldest and most renown jewelry stores in Lima, Peru; a store which is still family owned.
As she grew up, she tapped into her roots and started to design pieces mainly for her family and close friends. This was the beginning of a new generation… She enrolled in the university, where she earned her degree in Business management while continuing to make her one-of-a-kind pieces. In December of 2006 she opened her first showroom in the trendy district of Miraflores in Lima, and in 2013, a boutique in the historic hotel Country Club in San Isidro.
Tanya is constantly traveling around the world to find new and unique stones, which are the inspiration for the one-of-a-kind pieces in her collection. She also takes inspiration from the places that she visits and the people that she meets. Tanya blends her artistry with years of experience and with the hands and vision of her talented artisans, creating elegant and beautiful pieces of jewelry that become an integral part of anyone’s collection.
